Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CatalogDrift.io (the “Service”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
What the Service does
CatalogDrift.io monitors publicly-accessible e-commerce product pages you provide URLs for, detects changes to price, availability, and other structured data, and alerts you when something meaningful changes. On paid plans, it also generates AI-written explanations of already-confirmed changes.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the URLs you submit for monitoring — only submit pages you have the right to monitor.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to fetch, probe, or otherwise interact with any URL you don't have the right to access, or to use our crawling infrastructure as a general-purpose proxy for unrelated requests.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any law, or infringes anyone else's rights.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written consent.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, through Stripe.
- Annual billing is offered at a discount to the equivalent monthly price, shown at checkout before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand, from Settings, through Stripe's Billing Portal.
- Downgrading or canceling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't provide prorated refunds for the remainder of a period already paid for, except where required by law.
- We may change our prices with advance notice; changes apply to future billing periods, not one already paid.
AI-generated content
AI explanations are generated after the underlying facts (price, availability, and other field changes) are already confirmed by deterministic code — the AI never determines what changed, only helps explain why it might matter. AI-written summaries and recommendations are suggestions, not professional, financial, or legal advice, and may occasionally be incomplete or imperfectly worded. You're responsible for your own business decisions.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled monitoring runs on the interval your plan supports; we don't guarantee a check will happen at an exact moment, only on the configured schedule.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to the Service or other users.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be error-free, that every change will be detected, or that any AI-generated explanation is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatalogDrift.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits or lost data, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing law
[Placeholder — this section names the jurisdiction whose law governs these Terms and where disputes would be resolved. Fill this in, ideally with a lawyer's input, before relying on these Terms as binding.]
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes, notify you by email.
